Glee stars have the least friendly reunion ever on Drop the Mic

The cast of Glee had a reunion on Wednesday and, let’s just say, it was far from a warm, touching moment.

During an appearance on Drop the Mic, Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr., and Becca Tobin battled their former costars Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz and Heather Morris. Insults were thrown — mostly the cast took (good-natured) aim at each other’s careers — and no bars were held.

McHale kicked things off with fighting talk, delivering his first dig to Shum Jr. “Glee was a show that really pushed the envelope by casting a dancer that couldn’t hit a f—ing note,” he rapped. Shum Jr. did not take that one lying down. “Kevin, I’m impressed, look at you now; you got buff but you still look like Rachel Maddow,” he retorted, and was joined by his teammates in a simultaneous thumbs down.

Next up, the girls got their claws out. “Remember Amber’s Whitney tribute?” asked Ushkowitz. “That was a big scene; your Houston had more problems than Apollo 13.” Tobin stepped up to get revenge on Ushkowitz: “Congrats at being Katy Perry‘s least famous friend.” Damn. Then came Morris taking a shot at Tobin’s intelligence (“Becca, let me make sure I’m getting this right, I played a dumb blonde girl on Glee, you played one in real life?”) before Riley brought it home: “Kevin started working out in the hope he’d get hotter, now his body’s John Cena but his face is Harry Potter.”
