Captain Marvel is still flying high.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest offering is on track to cross $900 million at the global box office this weekend. As of Friday, it’s raked in an estimated $825 million worldwide ($286.4 million domestically and $538.6 million internationally).
Captain Marvel’s haul means that it has just passed 2002’s Spider-Man ($822 million) and Wonder Woman ($822 million) to become the 16th highest-grossing superhero movie of all time (unadjusted for inflation).
Since hitting theaters March 8, the Brie Larson-starring superhero movie has spent two weekends at the top of the domestic box office, but it’s expected to be dethroned this weekend by the opening of Jordan Peele’s new horror movie Us.
Captain Marvel stars Larson as intergalactic warrior Carol Danvers. She’ll next be seen in Avengers: Endgame (in theaters April 26).
